The Hampden Trilogy, Hampden Park Saturday 14th December 2019
Paul has been commissioned by Queens Park Director Garry Templeman to paint the historical sites of the three Hampden Parks. The first Hampden was located where the present Hampden Bowling Club now resides with Paul capturing a biblical vision of the old stadium from 1882. Paul has built up a personal relationship with the Scottish National Football historian Ged O' Brien and Graeme Brown from the Hampden Collection to help with historical maps and images to execute these works.
Alongside this Paul's other portraits of the second (Cathkin Park) and third Hampden were exhibited within the National Stadium alongside the clubhouse and Lesser Hampden QPFC.
